Apex Mountain hit with foot of fresh snow overnight

Attention all snow enthusiasts, whether you’re a rider of some sort or simply just like getting out to enjoy the snow, today is the day! Skiers, snowboarders, and sledders of all kinds, we most likely very pleased when they first looked out the window this morning. With several inches of fresh snow blanketing most of the interior of the South Okanagan, the snow is heavy everywhere.

Thankfully for our Season Pass holders and those looking for a day at the ski hill, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, or sledding, Apex Mountain Resort has recorded a foot of snow in just the last twelve hours, bringing our base to just over eighty centimetres!

The Quad chair opens today, opening many of the runs, and discounted lift tickets are still available. What more can we ask for? Only more snow! Maybe we will have a white Christmas in the Okanagan.

To check out the latest Snow Report or updated Snow Cam images, please visit the Apex Mountain Resort Advanced Ski and Snowboard Terrain website.

Have a great time out there, or inside, if that is where you choose to be!

To daylights break
The plump face looks on...
